    Hi,

    Block categories on FO can not connect to corresponding pages when switched to (el) Greek language.

    There is no problem with (en) English language. See attachments

    Please can you check it out and tell me how to fix it? ASAP

    Account access in private

    Thanks

    Hi
    Since your language does not match the format configured in the template, we have to re-configure your site.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    I followed your path and noticed a little change in the code. See attachement.

    I applied the change to a copy of my shop with the same issue in my local host but is not working out as yours.

    I’m sorry but I do not understand what you mean by my language does not match the format configured in the template.

    Can you tell me what was the format and what was supposed to be?

    After you fixed the current issue in my shop another issue appeared and I wasn’t able to save changes into my products, with a popup appearing saying the following: “that The link-rewrite field (ελληνικά (Greek)) is invalid.”

    I had to search to find out in my BO that the Accented URL inside the Set-up URLs was switched and left to “NO” position (I always have it ” YES “. I switched back to “YES” and the issue solved.

    Can you explain to me with more details or with an example to be able to understand what exactly you had to reconfigure in the site?

    Thank you and I appreciate your patients so far.

    Hi
    The common language format will be utf_unicode_ci as you can see the format of the name next to the link in the fieldblockcategories.tpl file.
    We need to know how your local link looks so we can check it for you.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    My shop is working OK for now but I’d like you to check what my local link looks like and let me know about it.

    I can only give you full account access for a short time today if you can check it out ASAP because I need to re-connect my PayPal account and put back the API key for my google map to get ready to upload my shop. Also simultanusly I'll be working with my BO on the products.

    Thanks

    Hi
    Sorry for replying you late.
    Your main page is working fine so we can't know what your local is like.
    You can change the display of the link in the following ways:
    {$items.link|escape:'html'}
    {$items.link|escape:html:'UTF-8'}
    {$items.link}
    {$items.link nofilter}
    Thanks

    Hi,

    No problem, all good up to now

    I’ve tried all displays of the link and only the {$items.link nofilter} is working for both current and localhost copy.

    Thank you very much for everything.
