    Hi,

    I encounter an issue on TESTIMONIALS.

    the photos I upload do not display fully from the bottom. See attach screen shots.

    Please have in mind that I’ve installed the theme ( newyork17-fashion9 with prestashop 1.7.7.8 ) locally hosted by wamp server as an update for my current URL ‘’ wonders.gr ‘’.

    Hi
    Your testimonial block height is lower than the image so it will be cropped partially
    You can add style like the image below in the file
    /themes/modern-fashion1/assets/field-css/field_style.css
      so that your background image is fully displayed

    Hi,

    I always clear cache in performance if I see that after clear History and refresh doesn’t work out and even sometimes clear the var/ cache.

    The addition of ‘’ background-size: cover; ‘’ in file ‘’ field_style.css ‘’ does not solve the issue. see attach screenshots

    I’ve also checked the file ‘’ field_style.css ‘’ from the update I have on standby with presta 1.7.8.0 and does not contain the above addition and the TESTIMONIAL image is perfect. See screen shot

    Hi
    You must leave "Recompile templates if the files have been updated" in Performance -> Smarty then your changes on the new file will be replaced.

    The previous images you sent me the content block is not tall enough so it will be cut off your background image, this image (presta 1.7.8.0.jpg) your content block has enough content and the height of the block is equal to the height of the image. so your photo will be fully visible

    Hi,

    After search and try different options I found out the following:

    The Addition of ‘’background-size: cover; ‘’ in file ‘’ field_style.css ‘’ works only if there is at least one Description in TESTIMONIAL as Paragraph ( as it pushes the frame lower exposing more background space for the image to show up without cropping at the bottom ).

    If use Descriptions as Headers without using at least one (1) Description as Paragraph then the background image will crop from the bottom.see screen shots

    I think maybe the ‘’Recompile templates if the files have been updated’’ instead of ‘’Force compilation’’ at this stage doesn’t make any difference since I constantly make updates to prepare the theme for replacement don’t you agree?

    Can you also guide me how to fix to click on arrows to navigate the TESTIMONIALS as slider? See attach screen shot

    You can edit in file
    /modules/fieldtestimonials/views/templates/hook/fieldtestimonials.tpl

    It will show the button nav and you can edit the button to your liking in the file field_style.css

    /themes/modern-fashion1/assets/field-css/field_style.css
    and edit as shown below

    Your module when adding a new testimonial it is not saving to the table ps_fieldtestimonials_shop
    You can download the new module from the following link and reinstall it
    I installed the test and it worked
