I encounter 2 issues with shopping cart using newyork 17-fashion 9-theme with prestashop 1.7.8.0.

• 1) Shopping cart always displays the cover image of the combination items (wrong image) instead  of the right image of the item that I order.  by the way the description display the right info for the item. see attach screen shots

• 2) when try to delete the shopping cart it does not clear the cart display from the current page unless I refresh the page every time. see screenshots

 (I have NO such issues with prestashop 1.7.7.8)

Thank you for your reply but I do not think you understood where the issues are because maybe I did not mentioned that I work With the theme on presta 1.7.8.0 locally on my own computer hosted with wamp server trying to prepare it and replace (update) the theme on presta 1.7.5.2 that already exists on my current URL ‘wonders.gr’

 I do not understand which theme did you reinstalled ?

If you understand me Can you tell me how to fix the issues myself before upload it?

I replaced the file /theme/core.js as you told me and has solved only the second issue that has to do with the shopping cart delete.

The first issue with the wrong product image in the shopping cart is not solved. Do you have any other idea for a solution to this issue while you wait a response from PS team ?

Thank you for your reply.

I edited both files that solved the image display in the 2 instances (pages) of the shopping cart ,  but still there is an issue with the image on ‘Product successfully added to your shopping cart’. See attach screenshots

By the way I’d like to just mention that ({$product.images[0].bySize.large_default.url})  was not in the file  /ps_shoppingcart.tpl but by searching I found it in the file /ps_shoppingcart-content.tpl

Yes I have selected combinations and checked in Design -> Image Settings there is large_default. see attach screen shots

while I was trying to edit the file exactly as per your sample and did not work, I tried a few other options and by chance editing from your sample only ' images[0] 'replacing ' cover ' seems the issue is solved. See my edited attach file 1 and files 2 & 3 that works fine for me

Are you sure the edited part of the file you send me is the one exactly you used in your testing reinstallation and works fine for you? See attached file 4 that you sent me.

Please can you let me know what you think of it and how do you explain that your sample edit may work for you and not for me?

By what you know and hear Is there any other issues with 1.7.8.0 that I should be aware of for later on, or should I use 1.7.7.8 to finish and upload my shop safer faster ?

Also do you have any idea why your sample ({$product.images[0].bySize.large_default.url})  for ' modal.tpl ' as it is does not work for me?

Your ps_shoppingcart module contains (7) files with (2) of them  ‘ps_shoppingcart-button & ps_shoppingcart-button-sticky’ are not in my module.

On the other hand my module contains (6) files with (1) of them ‘ps_shoppingcart-content’ is not in your module,

The only exact similar file yours with mine is ‘ps_shippingcart-product-line.tpl’

Besides the above files I also do not comprehend why your files in comparison to mine have differences in the codes, should they be exactly the same? Since we use same version of presta 1.7.8.0 and the same theme newyork 17-fashio9-theme-install? See attach screen shots of file comparison yours with mine.

Your enlightenment to all of the above will be most appreciated.

Thank you for your quick reply but I do not understand the point of your message I think we may loose communication (understanding).

I sent you two previous messages in split because I can not put more than 4 attachments at the time.

My question was why the files of ‘’ps_shoppingcart’’ you sent me are different than my files except the only file ‘’ps_shoppingcart-product-line.tpl’’ which is exact same as my file.

Can you please read carefully my two previous messages and if are confusing or not clear enough, please can you let me know and I’ll try my best to rephrase them maybe in a more clear way.
