I see that you don't have much experience. I have told you that the problem occurs in construction of the module, not in presentation. I say this because, if the image were too heavy, the time consumption would occur in the presentation step, after the construction of the main page code.
All the problem occurs during the construction of the home page and only when i activate this module "fieldblockcategories".
The time that a user has to wait, to get the home page code (not to build the view in client side) is 4.83 seconds, while if we don't activate the module, the time reduces to 0.410 seconds.
It is very obvious that the problem is in the construction of the code for that module, also if you don't have much experience.
I don't know what your module do, and i don't need to. All i want is that your code works properly.
I can tell you (trying to help both to have this solved asap) that my shop has a lot of products with a lot of images each one. Maybe your module make direct accesses to filesystem, and this could be the cause of this delay. If this is the problem, you could try to use the information allocated in database, in order to load images, instead of scan directories.
Hope that this help you to understand the problem in your code and that makes that you can get this bug fixed ASAP.
I can't know if you are inferior or not. What i have seen is a lack of interest in all of this bug. I have bought a template that doesn't work with real shops and i have asked you to solve it, but you have done anything.
It's a shame, because i love your design, but you must anounce that you have to deactivate this module in real shops or the web will load slowly.
I see your answer and only can interpret that you don't worry about this bug, so i have changed the code in my server, to fix your bug and let the template work properly.
It is difficult to sympathize, when your answer is that you don't know how to solve your bug. I have dedicated some hours to see your code, interpret it and make the changes to solve your bug

Maybe we are still inferior, but having to browse the category photo folder is the only way.
Otherwise, there is no way because PS does not create them in the database.
