We have purchased, downloaded & installed your DORADO Prestashop theme on the website named above (www.idadesign.ml).
However, in the original package received from ThemeForest the Quickstart Package at ps_dorado_package_1.1\dorado_quickstart\dorado_homepage4_quickstart_for_prestashop_1.7.0.5.zip
ONLY provides the QuickStart install for Prestashop version 1.7.0.5. !
What I understand from the way the theme is built and installed is that UPGRADES to any other Prestashop versions, such as 1.7.1.x would be impossible!
Why? Because I also see that your theme makes modifications to the CORE Prestashop installation files -- thus making it impossible to upgrade without destroying the entire shop website.
So here are our questions:
Is this true that DORADO can only be fully installed on 1.7.0.5? (given the Quickstart package available is for that version)? If not, how can we use a more recent version?
Is there a Quickstart ZIP for 1.7.1.x?Will there ever be one, or one for future versions of the theme? (Given the number of sales, I wonder whether you would like to invest time in taking it further...)
If we use DORADO, are further updates of Prestashop permanently impossible?
We are waiting for an honest answer, that will help us take the best decision for our shop.

Hi Petre Barlea,
With QS, they will be a certain version,
But you can use the PS update to update to the new version,
But we will need to replace or repair some files to give them the best compatibility,
Or you can use theme settings to have a completely new version or close to the latest.
(Currently Dorado we are trying to finalize theme update to 1.7.1.2 so if you install theme should be used with version 1.7.1.1)
